Gelato Prophy Paste offers a smooth, flexible, and splatter-free application experience. Containing 1.23% fluoride ion, this paste has been recognized six times as The Dental Advisor’s Top Prophy Paste from 2013 to 2018. It excels in delivering high-gloss polishing and effective stain removal while being gentle on enamel, ensuring minimal enamel abrasion.

Gelato paste comes in boxes of 200 individual disposable cups for convenient use. The disposable cups also eliminate cross-contamination and include a prophy ring for easy application to the patient’s teeth. For more options, the paste comes in 6-ounce (exports only) and 12-ounce jars.

Gelato Prophy Paste comes in four grit options—fine, medium, coarse, and extra coarse—to address a range of stain removal requirements. Hygienists commonly select the fine grit for routine cleaning, while the medium grit offers enhanced stain removal. For moderate to heavy stains, the coarse grit is recommended.
